2001 brings with it possibilities for intentional change, stronger than any previous year experienced in your life. This began with an eclipse, coinciding with the winter solstice, and visible in the United States. Ancient civilizations in the northern hemisphere celebrated winter solstice as the festival of light, the beginning of longer days with hope for the future. The special celestial energy of this year describes a gift of energy

for transformation and magic. You will have assistance to let go of old negative beliefs and begin co-creating the life desired in our hearts. The next two weeks are important to connect your mind and heart to be able to identify your long-term goals and specific changes desired.

^Aries (March 21 - April 20) You can combine adventure and responsibility. You tend to spend time focusing on climbing the mountain then looking for the next one to climb. Take the time now to imagine the view from the top to find your long-term sense of purpose.

_Taurus (April 21 - May 20) Your political, educational, and philosophical values need review. If you desire to travel or create something to sell, become aware of a long term, deeper purpose. That knowledge is your magic for manifestation.

`Gemini (May 21 - June 21) Gemini can easily get overwhelmed with ideas. You need to move beyond your mind and look deep into your heart to find your true direction for focus. Your gift now is the ability to find your most important desire and then organize your thoughts to create.

aCancer (June 22 - July 22) You will find your strength in the deep tap root of your soul, not in other people. In setting your goals, balance your emotions by writing, "I desire...." Avoid feeling you "need." Know your soul desires to nourish you. It is OK to set a goal for something you enjoy, rather than a "should".

bLeo (July 23 - August 22) In making choices and setting your goals, know that it is important for Leo, to be recognized for your creativity. You have many abilities, but know that even you cannot be all things to all people. You must make the choice in your heart. Constant adjustments of your dreams for others can lead to poor health. Being true to yourself up front prevents future disappointments for both you and the others you were trying to impress.

cVirgo (August 23 - September 22) This year will provide an opportunity for you to develop greater self esteem and appreciation of your own talents. Your ability to see details that other may miss allows you to help others to find the missing pieces needed for healing or fixing any situation. dLibra (September 23 - October 23) The Libra search for peace and harmony is usually played out by in the mind to the expense of the emotions. The denial is like stretching a rubber band until it snaps causing others to see you as two different people. Your goal for this year should be to become a partner with your own shadow. When you can love all parts of yourself and others - from your heart - then you will be able to find a relationship with roots in your soul.

eScorpio (October 24 - November 22) Positive Scorpio energy is all about magic and healing. It is the natural sign of the entrepreneur and the shaman. Your goal for the year should be to go within and find which path reclaims the lost parts of your soul. How can you achieve a feeling of wisdom and power?

fSagittarius (November 23 - December 21) The new year energy gives you the opportunity to create a whole new personality to play, if you choose; your soul playing a character in a play while learning from the experience. What is it you most want to learn at this time, and how can you best achieve that goal?

gCapricorn (December 22 - January 20) Each year at this time you go through a re-birthing process, but this year will be dramatic. It can be magical or difficult - your choice. Transformation will be required, as in the story of "Scrooge." In setting your goals, releasing fear of failure and success will need to be #1.

hAquarius (January 21 - February 18) In setting your goals, include a request for the ability to know your own personal mind and desires. In your quest to serve causes and the greater picture you have a danger of living life outside of yourself and in your head. Passion and intellect become the outer face.
