| Local Scientologists are working hard
in their communities, from tutoring children to helping the elderly to
caring for the environment using L. Ron Hubbard's technology. These hard-working
Scientologists have helped create expansion in the Scientology church.
Because of the continuing expansion, the Scientology church needed
a larger building to enable the staff to better service Portland. So
local Scientologists, in their continuing support of the church, have
contributed greatly by buying a building. The newer building, in a new
location, will improve service to the public.
The new Church building is located at 2636 N.E. Sandy Blvd. This building
has more space, which the church intends to remodel, to accommodate
more public and more staff. The new accessible location is more convenient
for parking, too. The church will continue to deliver services to the
community in its ongoing transition.
The Church of Scientology of Portland will have a Grand Opening in
