A year ago the changes were in publications. This year it is new

its doors. The Hollywood District may never be the same. Kathy and Richard
are closing the doors after many years on NE 39th Ave. in
Portland's Hollywood District. However, they will continue to operate
their Flower Essence wholesale mail order business from Sandy, Oregon.
To order essences, call 668-7160 or 800-343-8693.

Community ConneXion Online - CCO
Our Cyber edition, www.communityconnexion.com, will soon be as popular
as Community ConneXion. We carry the full print edition on-line. Features,
articles, calendar of events, resource directory and advertising are
available world wide through our internet connection. Also, our Wholistic
Resource Guide is a map to our cyber edition as well as a source of
information on membership, rates, internet access, keywords and other
stuff our 100,000 print readers have been asking for. We are just starting
to measure our cyber readership. The potential is gigantic and global.
You can access any of our features by adding the keyword, found at the
end of each article and throughout the directory, to the end of our
internet address (www.communityconnexion.com
/ keyword) and go directly to that information from anywhere in
the world or you can search by menu from our home page.
WEB SITE a Great Success
The online edition of Community ConneXion was featured in the May
issue of Fun with Success (http://www.seanet.com/~lindquist)
Tips and Strategies for creating success online. It said "be sure
to check out their calendar before vacationing there."
Randall Henderson of Grey Seal Counseling, said, "Thanks!
I love the web site!"
Robyn, "I read the latest edition and decided to check out
your web page. It is great!"
Elana, "I just enjoyed your site and the opportunity of being
able to be in the Seattle area and learn about lectures and workshops
in the Portland area. Wow! I travel quite a lot and usually don't find
out that kind of information until I get to a city."
If you would like to receive advance copies of submission to Community
ConneXion Online, please send your e-mail address to editor@communityconnexion.com.
CCX - Print Edition / Distribution Policy
In a letter from Bill we found a very interesting statement, "Mr.
Knight has put his stickers on Community ConneXion all over town."
What we think Bill has discovered is one of our free distribution methods.
We have 35 areas around Portland where volunteers distribute our paper
FREE. In order to maintain coverage of over 1,000 locations, we allow
locals to insert their flyers inside CCX and distribute them to their
local neighborhoods or shopping centers. We also offer a free 4"x2"
business card size space on the front cover next to our logo, which
is normally used for our mailing label. However, our newsstand copies
don't require mailing labels, so we prefer the space to be used for
courtesy copy distribution information. We are looking for more volunteers
who want to distribute Community ConneXion to your local retail establishments
and major shopping centers, with your own insert. If you have questions
about these policies, please call:
