SEO is the process where by your website is made to be compatible with the search engines and the searchers quires on the web. This is called organic search results.
SEM - Search Engine Marketing
SEM is what is referred to as a pay per click. You choose certain keywords that people search on and bid on them. When someone searches on a term you have bid on you get a link in the paid search results.
Internet Marketing
Internet Marketing is the rest of the stuff you can do to promote your site on the internet. You can create a persona for your product on myspace and create an interest that way for example.

Are you interested in getting your web page found by the people that surf the net? Most iSurfers find you site by using a search engine.
