| Time is said to consist
of the past, the present and the future. But who has ever experienced
these? The past is only a memory and the future is an idea. Even the
present is only a concept. There is only the eternal now. Any thought
of the past is only a thought that occurs in the Now. Any idea of
the future is only a thought that occurs in the Now. No one has ever
experienced the past. No one will ever experience the future. All
that is, is the eternal Now.
It is only the thoughts that break up this single infinite moment.
As you let go of the ideas of past and future, and even of the present,
you can surrender into the Now. This now is infinite and eternal.
It is the Reality of what is. You will find that the moment is perfect
and complete.
Nothing is needed in this Now.
Nothing is missing in this Now.
Everything is included in this Now.
Whatever happens is only occuring in this Now.
Past, Present and Future are only arising in this Now.
You have never left this Now.
You ARE this infinite, eternal Now.
If you are unsure of this, try to find when the past changes into
the Now, or when the Now changes into the future. Recognize that
your entire life has been one eternal Now. It is the one constant.
The body changes and the thoughts of the mind have changed. But
Now has ever been constant. Surrender into the Awareness of this
Now and all is perfect. For the Now is free from limitations. It
is free from sorrow. It is the nature of perfect peace and freedom.
Be open to the totality of the now and it opens into infinite awareness.
As the Ashtavakra Samhita says, When you let go of the body
idea, and remain in and as Awareness, even NOW (or only NOW), then
you are peaceful, happy, and free from bondage!
